Important Enrollment Terms at a Glance
Welcome to SOLINA Dance Productions! We are honored to partner with your family in providing a safe, joyful, and high-quality dance experience where children can build confidence, friendships, creativity, and important life skills.
The following summary highlights the most important terms of enrollment. These terms are part of and incorporated into the complete SOLINA Dance Productions Master Enrollment Agreement, Policies and Terms below.
By submitting an enrollment form and checking the required acknowledgment boxes, or by maintaining active enrollment after receiving notice of an updated agreement and its effective date, the parent or legal guardian agrees to comply with both this summary and the complete agreement.
If there is any difference between this summary and the complete agreement, the complete agreement will control.
1. Enrollment Is for the Dance Season
Enrollment is for the 2026–2027 SOLINA Dance Season, beginning August 17, 2026 and continuing through June 30, 2027.
Weekly billing is provided for convenience. It does not make enrollment a week-to-week or drop-in arrangement.
Current active dancers generally retain their class placements unless a class change, withdrawal, account issue, safety concern, or program adjustment requires otherwise.
2. Weekly Automatic Tuition
Tuition is divided into weekly automatic payments and is generally processed every Sunday using the payment method on file.
The parent or legal guardian authorizes SOLINA Dance Productions to process:
- Weekly tuition;
- The Annual Student Membership Fee; and
- Other separately disclosed and authorized charges.
A valid payment method must remain on file while the dancer is enrolled and during any required withdrawal-notice period.
3. Tuition Is Based on Enrollment, Not Attendance
Tuition reserves the dancer’s place in class and is based on active enrollment rather than attendance.
Tuition remains due when a dancer misses class because of:
- Illness;
- Vacation or travel;
- School activities;
- Sports or other extracurricular activities;
- Transportation or scheduling conflicts;
- Temporary loss of interest; or
- Personal or family circumstances.
Stopping attendance does not pause or cancel enrollment.
4. No Proration for Missed Classes
Missed classes, partial attendance, absences, and unused enrollment time are not eligible for prorated tuition, automatic refunds, credits, or transfers.
When class capacity and placement allow, SOLINA may offer an approved make-up class. Make-up classes are not guaranteed and do not replace the regular tuition obligation.
5. Annual Student Membership Fee
A $38 Annual Student Membership Fee is charged once per dancer for each SOLINA Dance Season.
The fee supports enrollment processing, student-account administration, family communication systems, recordkeeping, class placement, and season preparation.
The membership fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, and separate from tuition, costumes, showcases, merchandise, and special programs.
June 1 Membership-Fee Rule
A membership fee paid on or after June 1 will be credited toward the dance season beginning that August.
For the 2026–2027 season, dancers who paid a membership fee on or after June 1, 2026 will not be charged another membership fee for the upcoming season.
6. Thirty-Day Withdrawal Requirement
Ending enrollment requires submission of the official SOLINA Dance Productions Withdrawal Form at least 30 days before the requested final enrollment date.
The 30-day notice period begins only when SOLINA receives the completed official form. It cannot be backdated.
Tuition continues throughout the full 30-day notice period, regardless of whether the dancer attends class.
The following do not constitute official withdrawal:
- Stopping attendance;
- Telling an instructor or assistant;
- A telephone call;
- An email, text, or BAND message;
- A social-media message;
- Removing or locking the payment method; or
- Disputing a charge.
Official Withdrawal Form:
https://form.jotform.com/222386270626154
SOLINA will provide written confirmation of the dancer’s final enrollment date. Any balance incurred through that date remains due, but new weekly tuition will not continue after the confirmed final date unless the dancer re-enrolls.
7. Reducing Classes Also Requires Notice
Changing from two classes to one, removing a dance style, or otherwise reducing enrollment is considered a partial withdrawal.
Partial withdrawals require the same official Withdrawal Form and 30-day notice.
The existing tuition amount remains due during the notice period. The new rate begins after the notice period ends and SOLINA confirms the revised schedule.
8. No General Pause or Vacation Hold
SOLINA does not offer general tuition pauses or enrollment holds for:
- Vacations;
- Holiday travel;
- School breaks;
- Sports seasons;
- Temporary schedule conflicts;
- Other extracurricular activities; or
- A temporary decision to take time away.
Families who want SOLINA to continue reserving the dancer’s place during an absence must maintain active enrollment and tuition.
Documented medical-leave requests may be considered individually but are not automatically approved and do not replace the official withdrawal process.
9. Class Placement
Class placement is determined using factors such as:
- Age;
- Maturity;
- Experience;
- Skill development;
- Confidence;
- Physical readiness;
- Safety;
- Classroom dynamics;
- Class capacity; and
- Instructor recommendation.
Published age ranges are general guidelines and do not guarantee placement in a particular class.
Sibling schedules and family logistics will be considered when reasonably possible, but siblings are not guaranteed placement in the same class.
10. Showcases, Costumes, and Additional Fees
Regular tuition and the Annual Student Membership Fee do not automatically include:
- Costumes;
- Showcase fees;
- Tickets;
- Photography;
- Merchandise;
- Special events;
- Camps;
- Workshops; or
- Private instruction.
Additional expenses and deadlines will be communicated separately.
Costume and specially ordered merchandise payments generally become non-refundable once orders are placed, materials are purchased, or production costs are incurred.
11. Schedule and Program Changes
SOLINA may reasonably adjust instructors, assistants, class times, locations, class groupings, curriculum, choreography, or program structure because of enrollment, staffing, facility availability, safety, performance preparation, or program quality.
Classes affected by weather, emergencies, facility closures, or circumstances outside SOLINA’s reasonable control may be rescheduled, modified, moved online, or replaced with another reasonable instructional option.
Temporary closures do not automatically create refunds or prorated tuition.
12. Declined or Past-Due Payments
If a payment is declined or returned, SOLINA may retry the payment method and request updated payment information.
Continued nonpayment may result in suspension, release of the dancer’s class placement, withholding of ordered items, or termination of enrollment.
A declined payment does not automatically cancel enrollment or eliminate charges already incurred.
13. Student and Family Conduct
SOLINA is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, inclusive, and encouraging studio culture.
Unsafe, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, repeatedly disruptive, or abusive conduct by a dancer, parent, guardian, or guest may result in corrective action, suspension, or termination of enrollment.
If SOLINA permanently ends enrollment, future weekly tuition stops on the written termination date. Previously incurred balances and authorized non-refundable expenses remain due.
14. Future Season Renewal
SOLINA may offer current dancers continued enrollment into a future dance season without requiring a complete new registration form.
Before an automatic renewal longer than 60 days, SOLINA will provide written notice identifying the renewal date, upcoming season dates, applicable fees, material changes, and instructions for preventing renewal.
North Carolina law requires automatic-renewal and cancellation terms to be clearly disclosed and requires advance written notice for covered renewals longer than 60 days.
15. Acceptance of These Terms
New and returning families accept the agreement by:
- Reviewing the linked agreement;
- Checking the required enrollment-form acknowledgments; and
- Submitting the enrollment form.
Current active families will receive written notice before a material policy change becomes effective. Unless SOLINA requires a separate acknowledgment, continuing enrollment after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Electronic checkboxes, typed names, submitted forms, and retained electronic records may document acceptance. North Carolina recognizes electronic records, contracts, and signatures when applicable requirements are satisfied, and electronic disclosures should remain available for the recipient to save or print.

IMPORTANT TERMS AT A GLANCE
Please review the complete agreement below. These are material terms of enrollment:
- Enrollment is for the full SOLINA Dance Season, not for individual weeks.
- Tuition is divided into weekly automatic payments, generally processed every Sunday.
- Tuition reserves the dancer’s class placement and is based on enrollment, not attendance.
- Absences are not prorated and do not automatically create refunds, credits or make-up classes.
- A $38 Annual Student Membership Fee is charged once per dancer each season.
- Membership fees paid on or after June 1 are credited toward the season beginning that August.
- Ending or reducing enrollment requires the Official Withdrawal Form and 30 days’ notice.
- Tuition continues during the entire 30-day withdrawal period, regardless of attendance.
- Stopping attendance or sending an informal message does not cancel enrollment.
- General vacation, holiday, sports-season and scheduling pauses are not available.
- Costumes, showcases, tickets, merchandise and special programs may involve separate fees.
- Families are responsible for maintaining current contact, medical and payment information.
1. ACCEPTANCE AND APPLICATION OF THIS AGREEMENT
This webpage is the official public reference copy of SOLINA Dance Productions’ Master Enrollment Agreement, Policies and Terms. A signature is not required directly on this webpage.
New and Returning Dancers
By checking the required Terms and Conditions acknowledgment and submitting the SOLINA Enrollment Form, the parent or legal guardian confirms that the parent or guardian:
- Has been provided access to this agreement;
- Has had an opportunity to review it;
- Accepts it on behalf of the parent or guardian and the dancer;
- Authorizes tuition and other approved charges; and
- Agrees that the family and dancer will comply with these policies.
Current Active Dancers
Current active dancers are not required to complete an entirely new registration solely because this agreement is updated.
When a material policy changes, SOLINA will provide written notice identifying the change, the effective date and where the complete agreement may be reviewed.
Unless SOLINA requires a separate acknowledgment, continuing enrollment and participation after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement to the extent permitted by law.
A family that does not agree to an updated material term must submit the Official Withdrawal Form before the applicable effective date. The withdrawal policy in effect when the completed form is received will apply.
Families may download, save, print or request a paper copy of this agreement.
2. PARENT OR GUARDIAN AUTHORITY
The person enrolling or maintaining enrollment for a dancer represents that the person:
- Is at least 18 years old;
- Is the dancer’s parent, legal guardian or otherwise authorized adult;
- Has authority to make enrollment, financial and emergency decisions;
- Has authority to use the payment method provided; and
- Has supplied truthful and complete information.
When legal custody or decision-making authority is shared, the enrolling adult is responsible for communicating relevant information to other authorized parents or guardians.
SOLINA does not resolve private custody disputes. Families must provide any court order that directly affects communication, pickup, participation or access to the dancer. Unless such documentation is provided, SOLINA may rely on the information and permissions in the dancer’s account.
A separate enrollment form is required for each dancer because placement, medical information, emergency contacts, billing and authorizations may differ between siblings.
3. SEASON ENROLLMENT
Enrollment is for the 2026–2027 SOLINA Dance Season, beginning August 17, 2026 and continuing through June 30, 2027.
The season may include:
- Ongoing dance and movement instruction;
- Technique and skill development;
- Choreography;
- Confidence and life-skills development;
- Community performances;
- A winter showcase;
- An end-of-season showcase;
- Workshops, themed activities and special events.
The winter showcase is presently scheduled for January 30, 2027. Dates, venues and production details remain subject to reasonable change.
Weekly billing is a payment schedule. It does not convert season enrollment into separate one-week contracts or a week-to-week drop-in arrangement.
Current Active Dancers
Current active dancers retain their class placement unless:
- SOLINA recommends or requires a placement change;
- The family requests an approved change;
- The family officially withdraws;
- A class is reorganized, relocated, combined or discontinued;
- The account becomes past due;
- Conduct or safety concerns require action; or
- Another operational or developmental reason requires a change.
Returning Dancers
A dancer who paused, withdrew, canceled or otherwise became inactive must submit a new Enrollment Form before returning.
Previous class placement, schedule, tuition rate and availability are not guaranteed.
New Dancers
New dancers may enroll while appropriate class space remains available. Enrollment is complete only after required information, payment details, authorizations, acknowledgments and applicable fees have been received.
4. CLASS PLACEMENT, SCHEDULES AND INSTRUCTION
Class placement may be based on:
- Age;
- Maturity;
- Experience;
- Skill development;
- Confidence;
- Physical readiness;
- Learning or accommodation needs;
- Safety;
- Classroom dynamics;
- Class capacity; and
- Instructor recommendation.
Published age ranges are general guidelines and do not guarantee placement in a particular class.
SOLINA may recommend or require a placement change when necessary to support the dancer’s safety, confidence, development or the overall classroom environment.
Sibling schedules and family logistics will be considered when reasonably possible, but do not guarantee that siblings will be placed together.
SOLINA determines its curriculum, choreography, teaching methods, music, props and progression. Enrollment does not guarantee mastery of a specific skill, a particular instructor, a featured role, a solo or a specific outcome.
SOLINA may adjust class names, instructors, assistants, times, days, duration, location, age groupings, curriculum or program structure because of enrollment, staffing, facility availability, safety, performance preparation or program quality.
A class or placement change is not final until SOLINA confirms it.
5. TUITION AND AUTOMATIC PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Tuition is divided into weekly automatic payments and is generally processed every Sunday using the payment method on file.
The first tuition payment for a new or returning dancer will ordinarily be processed on the Sunday following the dancer’s first scheduled week unless another date is disclosed.
Tuition is based on:
- Active enrollment;
- The selected class schedule;
- The applicable program and location;
- Reserved class capacity;
- Program administration; and
- The instructional season as a whole.
Tuition is not calculated solely by counting individual class meetings.
Scheduled holidays, short breaks, performance preparation and calendar variations may be built into the tuition structure. Unless SOLINA announces that a particular week is tuition-free, tuition may continue during scheduled breaks.
SOLINA is a cashless program unless another arrangement is approved in writing.
The parent or guardian authorizes SOLINA to process approved charges for:
- Weekly tuition;
- The Annual Student Membership Fee;
- Registration charges;
- Costumes and showcases;
- Merchandise selected by the family;
- Camps, workshops and private lessons;
- Special events; and
- Other charges separately disclosed and authorized.
The family must maintain a valid payment method. Removing, closing, freezing, replacing or locking the payment method does not cancel enrollment or eliminate amounts owed.
Payment authorization continues through the confirmed final enrollment date and for charges previously authorized or incurred before that date. No new weekly tuition will accrue after the confirmed final enrollment date unless the dancer re-enrolls.
6. ANNUAL STUDENT MEMBERSHIP FEE
A $38 Annual Student Membership Fee is charged once per dancer for each SOLINA Dance Season.
The fee supports enrollment processing, student-account administration, family communication systems, recordkeeping, class placement and season preparation.
The membership fee is:
- Charged per dancer;
- Non-refundable;
- Non-transferable;
- Separate from tuition; and
- Separate from costumes, showcases, merchandise and special programs.
June 1 Membership-Fee Rule
A membership fee paid on or after June 1 will be credited toward the season beginning that August.
For the 2026–2027 season:
- Dancers who paid a membership fee on or after June 1, 2026 will not be charged another membership fee for the upcoming season.
- Eligible active dancers whose previous fee was paid before June 1, 2026 will have the $38 fee posted before the season begins.
- New and returning dancers will pay the fee through registration unless an applicable credit already exists.
SOLINA will review active accounts before processing the fee to help prevent duplicate charges.
7. DECLINED PAYMENTS, PAST-DUE ACCOUNTS AND BILLING QUESTIONS
If a payment is declined or returned, SOLINA may retry the payment method, request updated information, restrict additional purchases, suspend participation, withhold ordered items, release the class placement or terminate enrollment after notice.
A failed payment does not automatically constitute withdrawal.
Suspension or absence resulting from nonpayment does not erase charges already incurred. Any late-payment, returned-payment or administrative charge will be disclosed before it is assessed.
Outstanding balances may prevent future enrollment or participation in showcases, camps, workshops or special events.
Families should promptly contact SOLINA if they believe a billing error occurred:
Email:
info@solinadanceproductions.com
Telephone:
252-495-0796
Families agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve billing concerns directly with SOLINA before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. This does not waive rights provided by law or card-issuer rules.
A chargeback does not automatically cancel enrollment. SOLINA may provide relevant enrollment, payment, attendance, communication and withdrawal records when responding to a disputed charge.
8. ATTENDANCE, ABSENCES AND PRORATION
Tuition reserves the dancer’s class placement and is based on enrollment, not attendance.
Tuition remains due when a dancer misses class because of:
- Illness;
- Vacation or travel;
- School activities;
- Family scheduling;
- Sports or other extracurricular activities;
- Transportation problems;
- Weather affecting the family’s travel;
- Temporary loss of interest; or
- Personal choice.
Failure to attend does not pause, reduce or cancel enrollment and does not count as withdrawal notice.
Tuition, membership fees and other program charges are not prorated because of absence, missed classes, partial attendance or unused enrollment time, except where required by law or approved by SOLINA in writing.
Parents should report expected absences when reasonably possible.
9. MAKE-UP CLASSES AND STUDIO CLOSURES
When space, staffing, age and placement allow, SOLINA may offer a make-up class.
Make-up classes:
- Are not guaranteed;
- Require advance approval;
- Are subject to capacity;
- May have an expiration date;
- Have no cash value;
- Are not transferable; and
- Do not replace the tuition obligation.
A make-up class may differ in instructor, style, level, location, duration or day. Missing an offered make-up does not create another make-up, refund or credit.
Classes may be rescheduled, moved online, modified or canceled because of weather, facility closures, power outages, public-health concerns, government action, staff emergencies, unsafe conditions or other circumstances outside SOLINA’s reasonable control.
SOLINA may provide a rescheduled class, alternate instructor, virtual instruction, recorded content or another reasonable substitute.
Temporary closures do not automatically create refunds or prorated tuition. If SOLINA cannot provide the enrolled class or a reasonable alternative for an extended period, SOLINA may adjust future billing, provide an account credit or permit withdrawal without additional notice, depending on the circumstances.
10. THIRTY-DAY WITHDRAWAL POLICY
A family wishing to end enrollment must submit the Official Withdrawal Form at least 30 days before the requested final enrollment date:
https://form.jotform.com/222386270626154
The 30-day period begins when SOLINA receives the completed form. It cannot be backdated and does not begin with the dancer’s last attended class or an informal conversation.
Tuition continues throughout the 30-day notice period, regardless of attendance.
The following do not constitute official withdrawal:
- Stopping attendance;
- Telling an instructor or assistant;
- A telephone call;
- A text, email or BAND message;
- A social-media message;
- Canceling or removing the payment method; or
- Disputing a charge.
SOLINA will provide written confirmation of the final enrollment date.
Enrollment ends on the confirmed final date after completion of the notice period. Any balance accrued through that date remains due, but unpaid balances do not cause new weekly tuition to continue indefinitely after enrollment ends.
11. PARTIAL WITHDRAWAL, CLASS REDUCTIONS AND PAUSES
Reducing enrollment is considered a partial withdrawal.
Examples include:
- Changing from two classes to one;
- Removing one dance style;
- Ending private lessons while keeping group classes; or
- Removing one program from a multi-program schedule.
Partial withdrawals require the Official Withdrawal Form and 30 days’ notice. The existing tuition amount remains due during the notice period. The reduced rate begins only after the notice period ends and SOLINA confirms the revised schedule.
Requests to add classes are subject to availability and may take effect earlier when approved.
SOLINA does not offer general enrollment pauses or tuition holds for vacations, holiday travel, school breaks, sports seasons, temporary conflicts, extracurricular activities or temporary loss of interest.
A dancer is either actively enrolled or officially withdrawn. A family that wants the class placement reserved during an absence must maintain enrollment and tuition.
A temporary absence cannot later be treated as retroactive withdrawal notice.
12. MEDICAL LEAVE
SOLINA may consider a temporary medical leave for a documented injury, surgery, hospitalization or significant medical condition that prevents participation.
Medical-leave requests:
- Must be submitted in writing;
- May require supporting documentation;
- Are evaluated individually;
- Are not guaranteed;
- Must have defined dates; and
- Are effective only after written approval.
Requesting medical leave does not automatically stop tuition.
Medical leave is not withdrawal. If the dancer will not return, the family must submit the Official Withdrawal Form. Unless SOLINA agrees otherwise in writing, time spent on medical leave does not automatically count toward the 30-day withdrawal period.
SOLINA may determine whether a class placement can reasonably be held during an extended leave.
13. REFUNDS, CREDITS AND TRANSFERS
Except where required by law or expressly approved in writing, the following are non-refundable, non-transferable and not eligible for proration:
- Membership and registration fees;
- Tuition;
- Costume and showcase fees;
- Merchandise and photography orders;
- Camp, workshop and private-lesson payments;
- Special-event charges; and
- Other student-specific purchases.
Payments and credits may not be transferred between students, siblings, families, locations, programs or seasons unless SOLINA approves the transfer in writing.
Withdrawal does not create a refund for charges already processed or expenses already incurred.
14. SHOWCASES, PERFORMANCES, COSTUMES AND MERCHANDISE
Showcase and community-performance participation may require:
- Separate confirmation;
- Costume or showcase fees;
- Measurements;
- Required rehearsals;
- Additional practices;
- Transportation;
- Photography or recording;
- Participation deadlines; and
- Compliance with venue rules.
Participation is not guaranteed solely because the dancer is enrolled.
SOLINA determines casting, choreography, formations, music, costumes and featured roles using artistic, developmental and safety considerations. Attendance and rehearsal participation may affect casting or eligibility.
Tuition and the Annual Student Membership Fee do not automatically include costumes, tickets, photography, merchandise or special-event expenses.
Costume payments generally become non-refundable after an order is submitted, materials are purchased or production expenses are incurred.
Families are responsible for accurate sizing information, deadlines, reasonable alterations, costume care and required performance items. Retail sizing and exact fit are not guaranteed.
Late enrollment or missed deadlines may affect costume availability, sizing, choreography, casting or participation.
Custom, personalized, worn, opened or specially ordered merchandise may be final sale. Manufacturer delays, sizing variations and substitutions may be outside SOLINA’s control.
15. DRESS CODE AND PERSONAL PREPARATION
Dancers must arrive in appropriate movement attire with required footwear, secured hair when applicable and without unsafe jewelry or accessories.
SOLINA may limit participation when clothing, footwear, hair, jewelry, illness or another condition presents a safety concern.
Families are responsible for labeling and caring for personal belongings. SOLINA is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged property except as required by law.
Items left behind may be donated or discarded after a reasonable period.
16. HEALTH, ILLNESS AND EMERGENCY CARE
Parents must disclose information reasonably necessary for safe participation, including medical conditions, allergies, physical restrictions, recent injuries, behavioral or developmental needs and emergency medications.
Families must promptly update this information.
Enrollment is not a medical determination that the dancer is fit to participate. SOLINA may restrict or modify participation when staff reasonably believe participation may be unsafe.
Dancers should not attend with fever, vomiting, significant diarrhea, symptoms of contagious illness, an uncovered contagious skin condition or another condition that prevents safe participation.
SOLINA may ask an ill dancer to leave. Illness-related absences remain subject to the attendance and no-proration policies.
If a parent, guardian or emergency contact cannot be reached during an apparent emergency, SOLINA may contact emergency services, provide available first aid within staff training, share relevant medical information and take reasonable actions intended to protect the dancer.
Families remain responsible for ambulance, hospital and medical costs.
Emergency medication and written action plans must be provided when applicable. Staff will administer or assist with medication only when agreed in writing, legally permitted and within staff training.
17. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND LIMITED RELEASE
Dance, acro, tumbling, stretching, conditioning, rehearsals and performances involve inherent risks, including slips, falls, collisions, strains, sprains, fractures, overuse injuries, physical exertion, equipment contact and injury caused by another participant.
The parent or guardian acknowledges these risks and voluntarily permits participation.
The dancer and family agree to follow safety instructions and disclose relevant restrictions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the parent or guardian releases SOLINA, its owners, instructors, assistants, authorized contractors and host facilities from claims arising solely from the ordinary inherent risks of voluntary participation.
Nothing in this agreement is intended to waive liability that cannot legally be waived, including liability for gross negligence, reckless misconduct or intentional wrongdoing.
18. DROP-OFF, PICKUP, OBSERVATION AND THIRD-PARTY FACILITIES
Parents are responsible for safely delivering and collecting dancers from the designated class area.
Dancers may not be dropped off excessively early or left after class without approved supervision.
Only authorized individuals may pick up a dancer when authorization is required. SOLINA may request identification.
Repeated or significant late pickup may result in a warning, required arrangements, a previously disclosed administrative fee, suspension or termination.
Parent observation may be limited to designated classes, observation periods or events to protect student focus, privacy, safety and classroom capacity.
Guests and unenrolled children must remain under the direct supervision of their accompanying adult.
Some classes and events occur at facilities not owned by SOLINA. Families must follow host-facility rules concerning access, parking, food, safety, conduct, waivers and ticketing.
19. STUDENT AND FAMILY CONDUCT
SOLINA is committed to a safe, inclusive, joyful and respectful learning environment.
Dancers, parents and guests must not engage in:
- Bullying or harassment;
- Threats or physical aggression;
- Discrimination;
- Dangerous or repeatedly disruptive conduct;
- Abusive or profane communication;
- Interference with instruction;
- Unauthorized entry into restricted areas;
- Damage to property;
- Weapons, illegal drugs, smoking or vaping where prohibited; or
- Conduct that materially harms the studio community.
Concerns should be raised respectfully through official administrative channels.
SOLINA may use progressive corrective measures when appropriate, but may act immediately when safety or serious misconduct requires it.
The parent or guardian may be responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs when the dancer or accompanying guest willfully, maliciously or recklessly damages property.
20. ACCOMMODATIONS, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
SOLINA seeks to provide an inclusive, whole-child learning environment.
Families should communicate accommodation needs before enrollment or as soon as a need becomes known. SOLINA will consider the dancer’s needs, class structure, staffing, facility limitations, safety, instructor training, available resources and the needs of the group.
Not every requested accommodation can be provided in every class or location. SOLINA may recommend a different class, modified arrangement, BrightMoves program or outside resource when appropriate.
SOLINA may suspend or terminate enrollment because of:
- Nonpayment;
- Unsafe or repeatedly disruptive behavior;
- Harassment or threats;
- Serious policy violations;
- Materially inaccurate enrollment information;
- Repeated late pickup;
- Conduct by a parent or guest that harms the program;
- An inability to meet the dancer’s needs safely with available resources; or
- Circumstances that make continued enrollment unworkable.
When SOLINA permanently terminates enrollment, future weekly tuition stops on the stated termination date. The family remains responsible for balances and authorized non-refundable expenses incurred before that date.
Termination does not automatically create a refund.
21. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, PRIVACY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Media consent choices may be collected separately through registration or another written authorization.
Declining promotional media consent does not, by itself, prevent ordinary class enrollment.
SOLINA cannot guarantee exclusion from wide-angle crowd images, public performances, third-party audience recordings or incidental background appearances at public events.
SOLINA may collect and use information reasonably necessary for enrollment, billing, placement, safety, attendance, communication, performances and administration.
Information may be shared as reasonably necessary with authorized staff, instructors, payment processors, form and communication providers, insurers, costume vendors, venues and emergency personnel.
SOLINA will not knowingly sell private enrollment information to advertisers.
SOLINA’s logos, curriculum, choreography, lesson materials, graphics, videos, written content and other original materials may be protected intellectual property. Families may not commercially reproduce, distribute, sell or claim these materials without written permission.
Recording during classes, restricted rehearsals or backstage areas may be prohibited.
22. OFFICIAL COMMUNICATIONS AND POLICY UPDATES
SOLINA may communicate through email, BAND, telephone, text, JotForm, its website, printed notices or another designated platform.
Families are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and reviewing communications.
Material financial, enrollment, renewal and withdrawal notices will generally be sent through email, BAND, the website, JotForm or the family account.
The current agreement will be maintained at:
www.solinadanceproductions.com
It will identify its version, last-updated date and effective date.
When a material change affects enrollment, billing, withdrawal, renewal or another significant obligation, SOLINA will provide advance notice identifying the change, effective date and webpage where the complete agreement may be reviewed.
The notice may provide a hyperlink rather than reproducing the complete agreement.
SOLINA may require affirmative acknowledgment when appropriate. Otherwise, continued enrollment after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Administrative corrections or clarifications that do not materially change family obligations may be posted without a new acknowledgment.
SOLINA may retain electronic records of enrollment, acknowledgment, notices, payments, withdrawal requests and policy versions.
23. FUTURE SEASON RENEWAL
The 2026–2027 Dance Season ends June 30, 2027.
SOLINA may continue active dancers into a future season without requiring an entirely new registration form.
When enrollment will automatically renew for a term longer than 60 days, SOLINA will provide written notice at least 15 days, but no more than 45 days, before the scheduled renewal date.
The notice will state:
- The renewal date;
- The upcoming season dates;
- How to prevent renewal;
- Applicable membership fees;
- Material tuition or policy changes; and
- Other important renewal information.
Materially changed renewal terms will be clearly and conspicuously disclosed.
Families who do not wish to renew must follow the instructions and deadline in the renewal notice.
Enrollment in a future season will be governed by the agreement and rates applicable to that season.
24. CAMPS, WORKSHOPS, DROP-INS AND SHORT-TERM PROGRAMS
Camps, workshops, private lessons, drop-in classes, residencies and short-term programs may have separate dates, fees, cancellation terms, attendance rules and participation requirements.
When a specific written program term conflicts with this agreement, the more specific term controls for that program only.
25. LEGAL AND GENERAL TERMS
This agreement is governed by the laws of North Carolina.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted or removed, while the remaining provisions continue in effect.
SOLINA’s decision not to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive future enforcement.
